The paper considers the development of a technological scheme for preparing metal matrix nanocomposites based on interaction between nanodiamond reinforcing particles and chromium when being heated, forming carbide nanoparticles. These carbides are in situ synthesized ceramic first stage composites is to obtain with particles. For this purpose, mechanical alloying used, i.e., processing planetary mills. size primary particle 5 nm, but they combined agglomerates that hundreds micrometers size. time mill defines crushing degree agglomerates. In study, was carried out 0.5 h, 2 4 h. second obtaining thermal processing. Explorations using method differential scanning calorimetry showed reducing (by prolonging mill) leads decrease initial temperature reaction developing carbides. worked-out technique patented Russian Federation (the patent invention 2772480).
